Buffalo Ridges Tracts

Large Tract - Forest and wildlife habitat management.

The Buffalo Ridges tract is a large tract of mixed hardwood forestlands consisting of 1,050 acres (+/-).

The tract is being split into five (5) parcels/tracts for sale currently.

The tract has been managed by Kanawha Forestry in St. Albans, WV with management focusing on:
- Tract access improvements with ridgetop access roads
- Wildlife habitat management and diversity
- Even age timber growth post timber harvests on the tract
- Trophy Whitetail and turkey hunting opportunities
- Non-game bird habitat and birding
- Hiking, ATV & equestrian trails

The tracts border or are in close proximity to the Town of Eleanor City Park and the Putnam County Gun Club shooting range. Also nearby is the Amherst Wildlife Management Area (public hunting) and the Winfield locks on the Kanawha River for excellent fishing.
